The power of love is an extremely potent, sometimes neglected resource we can tap into at will. Love is the conscious choice to see the best in others. The power it has stems from the principle that what we offer to others, we strengthen in ourselves. Love is at its best when it is a two way street. This family we have created together is a perfect example of the power of love. Sure we may have joined initially for another reason, but most of us did bond as a family. We learned that the physical distance just stopped being important to us. That our family members span the globe. Comon, have you not connected with someone from another country as friends? I know I personally have connected to so many from all over the globe and hope to get a chance to meet each and every one of them at some point in time. I wake up each day looking forward to connecting with my global family. We don’t judge one another. We may have our disagreements on certain topics but we know together we are united and stronger. We feel protective of this family we created. We strengthen each other….I see evidence of that each and every day. When one of us are struggling, we feel virtual hands on ours willing us to pull strength from our family. When we see family members struggling we place our hands on theirs willing them and letting them know they are not alone. One of the many benefits of being in this family we all have created is that none of us are or will ever feel alone again. When you feel like you are losing hope, please reach out to me or to a family member. We do care. We will listen while you vent, cry or scream until you find your answers. One thing I have learned on this mission and being a member of this family is I find my answers when someone just lets me vent (poor whip, JQ and Kath for being my “go to” s and are so amazingly patient when I do.) My point here is that for me, venting does solve problems if the frustration level is off the charts. But we must focus only on the cause of the frustrations and not attack one another in our venting sessions. Folks have asked me how I remain calm and positive. The answer is actually simple. When negativity rears its mighty head in my direction, I deal with it head on and turn it into a positive. You can always find something positive in MOST things. Outright evil like we are surrounded with each day, well that is a different story. I acknowledge that it is evil and just assure myself that I am doing what I can to take it down. Each and every day we all are busy exposing the evil. THAT is how we defeat the evil around us. Growing this very loving family is how we defeat the evil. So THAT is how and why I stay positive and calm (and ok also because I know when I need to vent because venting is a great release that I usually end up laughing at myself for doing it.) Please know without any doubts that you are NOT alone. We stand with you. Those are not just words any longer…we are a proven factor…A proven family. Where we go one, we go all. Not only understand that phrase, feel it. We have learned by being fully reliant on God (F.R.O.G.s) nothing can defeat us. God wins!!! We win because we truly are God’s chosen warriors. Love and peace to all. I do truly love each of you.
